231) White Collar Hooligan 3 (2014) aka Revenge in Rio
Mike and Eddie manage to track down the villain responsible for the death of Katie to exact their revenge, but all does not go according to plan in Rio against the backdrop of the World Cup.
2/10 – One of the most idiotic films I’ve ever seen. I haven’t even seen the first 2 films, but it wasn’t made obvious to me on Netflix that this film was the 3rd in a series of films that boggles the mind as to how they even got made, due to its name change to “Revenge in Rio”. It features a cast of people you would look to avoid in the pub, or anywhere for that matter. Annoying on every single level, but equally laughable in every single scene. It follows the formula of trying to have a serious scene, then completely undermining its importance with a conversation of absolute nonsense, or in one instance, a really long sex scene.
For fans of Football Factory, people who want to laugh at how terrible a film is, with one of the most ridiculous conclusions to any film I’ve seen, it’s worth a punt.
I haven’t laughed that hard at a film in a while, but it was still shit.
