I love World Cinema. It took me many years to come around to the idea of watching films with subtitles on them, but now it is second nature. People are often annoyed at my DVD collection, the first question is usually, “are there any without subtitles?” followed by “what have you got that’s funny?”.
Well, I’d say about 80% of them have subtitles, and as for comedy, unfortunately I like a lot of bleak films and would suggest that a good comedy is hard to come by. Here’s a list of the films dubbed ‘World Cinema’. Do your best to seek the good ones out.
