Horror is an interesting genre, one I should probably do more to promote. I’ve watched my fair share of horror films well before starting this website so the list will not be comprehensive in terms of what I’ve actually seen. Also, you may or may not agree with the ratings, but one of my biggest annoyances are horrors classified as ‘shit’ because they ‘weren’t scary’. Fear is subjective, as I have addressed here (TL:DR – Martyrs scarred me for life, everything else doesn’t do it), as such, I actually don’t feel that I can be scared anymore. Although, if you think you have a film that can do the trick (not Martyrs), feel free to leave suggestions in the comments box below.
