A look at tightrope walker Philippe Petit’s daring, but illegal, high-wire routine performed between New York City’s World Trade Center’s twin towers in 1974, what some consider, “the artistic crime of the century.”
8/10 – Excellent fun to watch. Philippe is such an animated storyteller it is hard not to be drawn into the intensity of the situation, even though the outcome is known. The archive footage and photographs are unbelievable to see, and more so considering that the towers are no longer around.
Worth a watch, and the book of the same name is just as good.
