Hi all,

I’m quite surprised so many people still visit this site, although whether these are genuine visits or links to my images from Google, I can’t be bothered to work it out.

As I started taking my work my seriously, got out more, spent a lot of time assuming best man duties for my brother, various wedding celebrations elsewhere, combined with obsessive viewing of the Euros and the Olympics, my time for movies and let alone writing about them has been extremely limited – hence the radio silence on the website.

That’s not to say that I haven’t been watching my fair share. A quick glance at my Letterboxd account says that I have watched almost 202 hours of film this year, across 115 films in total. Quite a substantial amount for someone with no free time?

So by way of an update, please visit my Letterboxd profile page to keep up to date with the films I watch. For those just curious to see what I’ve watched, here is a brief summary of all the films I have seen this year (not all 2016 releases), in order of rating (out of 5 – although the order within the ratings is not correct);
