1/10 – Absolute drivel. I cannot believe Tom Hardy lowered himself to this. It was on Film 4 late Sunday evening and my alternative was Sinister on Channel 4. Upon reflection, I would have rather watched people being stabbed and murdered than see two idiot CIA Agents fight for the affection of a confused Reese Witherspoon. That is how bad this film is.
It wasn’t funny, it didn’t know what it was. To pen itself as an ‘action/thriller/romance/comedy’ is generous and a discredit to each of those genres. It is irritating to men, degrading to women, I have absolutely no idea who this intended audience was.
Even Tom Hardy hated it.
“I love to do things I hadn’t done before, but I didn’t understand how you could do something that is so much fun and be so miserable doing it.”
I felt miserable watching it. Avoid.
