A puppeteer discovers a portal that leads literally into the head of the movie star, John Malkovich.
9/10 – What an utterly unique film. I have had this available to watch for years now, but always dismissed it having perceived it to be a serious drama. It was the complete opposite; unbelievably funny, surreal on every level and completely engrossing. It is absolutely bizarre and like nothing I have seen before.
John Malkovich is great for going along with it, Cameron Diaz is oddly adorable and I didn’t want to punch John Cusack in the face. It is brilliantly acted, well shot and the script is very funny. I would expect that I was in the minority having not seen this film, but as with the others I review, if you trust my ratings and you haven’t seen this, it is highly recommended.
