A Chechen Muslim illegally immigrates to Hamburg, where he gets caught in the international war on terror.
7/10 – Mumbling and grumbling it’s way through plenty of detail, it was hard to keep my attention for the most part. However, Hoffman elevates the film to something that is not only tolerable, but his character leaves an impression on you that lasts well after the film has ended. It is worth watching if not for his performance alone, but those looking for something more than a one man show will be left disappointed as a film with so much promise fails to deliver. Slow, steady but ultimately tedious, I just like my thrillers with a bit more thrill.
