234) Camp X-Ray (2014)
A soldier assigned to Guantanamo Bay befriends a man who has been imprisoned there for eight years.
8/10 – Maadi & Stewart really carry this film, they come across as extremely talented actors, and after seeing them in Camp X-Ray it’s difficult to imagine anyone else taking their places. The film has drab moments, and some will question it’s originality or pacing, but I was thoroughly entertained. The final scene although predictable was engrossing viewing. Do not be put off by the Twilight lead’s inclusion in this film, it seems to be the standard reaction when I say I watched this; “oh, she’s in it, I can’t be bothered then, I don’t like her”.
Just watch the film. It’s not like you’re being forced to watch Twilight.
