Coldfish (2010)

205) Coldfish (2010)

When Syamoto’s teenage daughter is caught stealing, a generous middle-aged man helps resolve the situation. The man and his wife offer to have Syamoto’s troublesome daughter work at their fish store. Syamoto soon discovers the horrific truth of the seemingly perfect couple.

8/10 – Slightly longer than it needed to be, but by no means unenjoyable. This brutal, dark and oddly funny film will test most fans of the gory Korean movie genres. It’s not violent for the sake of it, it’s wrapped around a complex story that is intriguing in it’s extremely bleak nature, and shows the true power that lies within extreme manipulation when the skills is in the hands of a psychopath.
