A look at the relationship between Mike and Sulley during their days at Monsters University — when they weren’t necessarily the best of friends.
7/10 – Some might consider this to be an unnecessary prequel, but it is an entertaining one at that. Hard to believe that it was 12 years ago that the original was made. Even now when we know what to expect, it is so bafflingly creative that you can’t help but sit in awe at how far animation has come, as you see the sheer variety of monsters come and go across your screen. Very funny script for both adults and children but a slightly sappy message behind the whole film – is that to do with the Disney acquisition? I doubt it. Overall – It’s good, not great, but worth a watch if you liked the original.
