67) Too Big To Fail (2011)
Chronicles the financial meltdown of 2008 and centers on Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson.
6/10 – A concise look at the economic crisis in 2008. It was actually quite in depth, but from a personal standpoint it raises more questions than answers. Fundamentally, I can’t understand how they can afford to bail out large corporations like that? A ridiculous amount of money was spent on Wall St, and from the little blurb at the end is seemed like very few either learned their lesson or actually used the cash wisely.
Otherwise, it was relatively easy to watch. William Hurt, James Woods and Paul Giamatti were all excellent, and carried the movie for the most part. It was nothing special, but worth a watch.
