Snitch (2013)

57) Snitch (2013)

A father goes undercover for the DEA in order to free his son who was imprisoned after being set up in drug deal.

6/10 – First convincing performance by The Rock that I have seen on film (I haven’t seen Pain & Gain / F&F / Empire State / Hercules). He was the only good piece about this though, as the film wandered between a drama, thriller and action movie, it never really seemed to find it’s footing. Whatever message was intended whether it be about the war on drugs, family values or the prison system, was so far lost that there was an actual ‘message’ put up at the end.

That being said, it was a good watch. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it, but it’s definitely one of The Rocks better movies.
