Shotgun Stories tracks a feud that erupts between two sets of half brothers following the death of their father. Set against the cotton fields and back roads of Southeast Arkansas, these brothers discover the lengths to which each will go to protect their family.
8/10 – Michael Shannon delivers an incredible performance in this film, which is not a ‘shoot em up’ film as the title suggests, but rather a slow building, cautionary family affair. Fans of Take Shelter will love this film, as the partnership of Shannon and Jeff Nichols (Director) makes for captivating viewing.
