The Man From Nowhere (2010)

33) The Man From Nowhere (2010)

A quiet pawnshop keeper with a violent past takes on a drug- and organ trafficking ring in hope of saving the child who is his only friend.

8/10 – Another brilliant Korean film. The front of my DVD case says “Like Oldboy meets Taken”… Pretty much spot on – it has more or less the same story as Taken, only with the bleakness and increased level of violence you would come to expect from Korean cinema.

I thoroughly enjoyed this, and for any fans of Taken, The Raid or Korean Cinema in general, I would highly recommend this film.
