6/10 – Another weird film by Quentin Dupieux (Mr. Oizo), I sort of enjoyed his last film ‘Rubber‘ and went into this with an open mind. While there is a plot, the world the characters inhabit and the events they encounter make absolutely no sense, and they’re not supposed to. It is a difficult film to describe, but much like ‘Rubber’ it is best enjoyed by not trying to over-think it or add any meaning to it. It is what it is. However, it did feel a bit monotonous in parts, and the novelty of the sheer absurdity of it had worn thin by the end.
