22) Captain Phillips (2013)
8/10 – Best Nautical themed film this year… That being said, I haven’t seen Hijacking yet. I do think there must have been some artistic licence taken here, as with all ‘based on true story’ films. It at times seemed a little far fetched in terms of how courageous Tom ‘Irish’ Hanks’s character was, but I’m yet to read up on the inaccuracies – and to be honest, I don’t really want to. The film was excellent and definitely one I will be watching again.
