20) The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)
10/10 – Find it hard to fault it. It belongs up there with Gravity & 12 Years A Slave as the best films from last year, and I have no doubt that Dallas Buyers Club will join my elite 10/10 club based on what I’ve read. I mean, they could have shown more at the end, in terms of his comeuppance, but it wasn’t supposed to be shown in that light. Pure greed, excess with no remorse.
I can understand where people are coming from with regards to his actions being glorified on film, and it stems from it being a comedy, but really he is a sad individual as you will find out (if you haven’t watched it).
